Sickos Selection

Just a group of pornographers who band together to create bundles that promote each other's work and to give new (and old!) readers a peek into interesting work.

A bundle sale of indie erotica including comics, illustration and prose. Each edition is fully organised by the participants, and all proceeds are split equally. The line-up of contributors and content changes regularly, according to people’s availability.

There’s no set schedule, but up to now the sale has been organised roughly once every six months. Our most recent is the fourth edition.

Each artist contributes at least one piece of work, and may volunteer more stretch goals as the sale progresses. So with 25 participants, the bundle contains at least 25 different adult works.

At launch, Sicko’s Selection 4 offers 15 comics, 5 prose works and 4 art books. That’s over 400 pages of comics, 100,000 words of fiction, and 500 pages of art, all DRM-free. Additional content will be added for everyone as stretch goals are unlocked.

Everyone who buys Sicko’s Selection at any point in the sale period, from day one to the very last minute, gains access to all of the bonus content unlocked by stretch goals. You don’t need to wait to buy it. You will get access to everything, even if it’s unlocked after your purchase.

Sicko’s Selection is a collective effort, where everyone contributes what they can and gets an equal share of the money. Sometimes one person can put in more time and work to make the bundle a success. Sometimes they have less capacity and a greater need for income and audience support. Ultimately we know that when we all take care of each other, we all benefit.

Sicko’s Selection 3 raised almost $58,000 and in the current hostile online climate we’re very proud of that – but the biggest impact of this bundle is what it does directly for its contributors.

Past bundles have paid participants’ rent, covered medical and emergency costs, and enabled vital household purchases that would otherwise have been unaffordable. Income for adult creators is more unstable than ever. This three-week window of direct sales can mean the difference between struggling to stay afloat and the opportunity to plan ahead and thrive.

Sorry! The bundle information will be up as long as itch.io exists, so you can still find a particular work from a creator and buy it at a different time. If you purchased the bundle previously, you should be able to redownload the work as long as it is still available on itch.io.
